What it means is that you're self critical and that can only be a good thing, leading to progress. Your writing will improve the more you write and self edit. But it's hard. If you ever expected it to be easy? It's not! You just have to persevere, and don't be hard on yourself. You're out there, doing your best. You'll get there. And when you do, and you're finally published, you have to try and encourage as many people as possible to buy your book.
Hence my visit here to thank you for expressing an interest on the Writers Chronicle, in my book. Cut Short is the first in a new series of British crime thrillers. You can read about it on my blog leighrussell.blogspot.com or on my publisher's website www.noexit.co.uk
Please feel free to email me on leighrussell2009@live.co.uk if you'd like to contact me. I'd love to send you a personalised message and scanned signature if you enjoy Cut Short. I hope you do! and that I'll one day be enjoying reading your first published book!Leigh Russellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15080517449825380527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1652027283255552045.post-37309228441783068022009-03-04T21:02:00.000-08:002009-03-04T21:02:00.000-08:00It's GOOD to have characters caring about shopping...It's GOOD to have characters caring about shopping. That's realistic writing. I love the Shopaholic novels and hope you finish that book and get it published, as there are millions of women out there who want more on realistic shopping women.ReNuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00678714340953433617noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1652027283255552045.post-45424596471787786092009-02-15T00:13:00.000-08:002009-02-15T00:13:00.000-08:00awwww...you got some cute comments...my words aren...awwww...you got some cute comments...my words aren't needed *gives a smile*
btw. Everyone despises their stories at some time, has days where they just can't write. But you know what? You'll get out of this slump. You're an awesome writer- your stories ideas are great and style unique. Just keep at it, keep practicing and hopefully soon, all your buds at the Draft will be picking up your book at B&N. *hugs*Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1652027283255552045.post-16330842378177893572009-02-13T10:41:00.000-08:002009-02-13T10:41:00.000-08:00You are not a crappy writer. keep telling yourself...You are not a crappy writer. keep telling yourself that.Clare C.
